Give your audience 3 baby steps to start working with you
When I ask clients about how they outline a plan for their audience to start working with them, I often get a long, detailed list of steps.
I get it. It's easy to go down a rabbit hole.
You put so much work into serving your clients and customers, and you want them to understand the effort you put into it.
Unfortunately, if you do this when you talk to a prospective customer or donor, they are going to turn tail and run.
Why?
It's overwhelming.
It has nothing to do with their intelligence. It's simply too much to take in, especially in today's world that is overflowing with information.
So what should you do?
Break it down into three easy baby steps.
Here is the 3-step structure:
1️⃣ Choose a clear call to action
2️⃣ Outline simple active work
3️⃣ Name the outcome or transformation
